it's ok and it gets OK because Room was clean, staff was nice.
This used to be my favorite Hotel, we have stayed many times.
I wish I could give it the 5 stars I use to.
Most of the staff are polite and helpful at the desk. The room was clean.
Look for the price on a weekday, I expect at least an Ocean View, not A1A. I MADE the reservations 4 weeks in advance.
NO adjoining rooms Oceanfront, No guarantee on adjoining rooms I was told when we arrived.
Suites have a "king bed" only. not family suitable.
Not the hotels fault but just a heads up seems "guests" have no idea what masks are or social distancing altho it's posted everywhere. The pool was overcrowded, so we didn't stay in that area, we stayed on the beach.
I am in hospitality, I get it Covid makes everything different. I didn't go expecting my normal vacation.
Breakfast was a HUGE letdown. It changes every day. A HALF of waffle one day, 2 pieces of dry toast or Oatmeal another day. The apple wrapped in plastic wrap was rotten to the core.
Someone should tell them Sysco sells individually wrapped pastries, cereal, among other breakfast items. for over 90.00 a night this is a deal-breaker for us. Luckily there's an Ihop across the street and door dash delivers to the room.
Other than that we enjoyed the week. A nice break for the RN in our family who has been on the Flroida frontlines since the beginning. less
