Check in fast and easy. Lobby area nice. Good location. Room a bit threadbare and worn. However it was clean. Bed and bedding were new and very comfortable. Other furniture and the bathroom in need of some repairs. That does not put me off since it was clean and the bed comfy. Walls are extremely thin, without much in the way of soundproofing. Quiet time of year and in the middle of the week, so no late night noise from people. And fortunately turning on the fan drowned out the road and other outside noises.
Now the weird thing... Which I had seen from another reviewer, but did not happen to the extent that person claimed. The light switches at the room entrance area have some type of motion activated LED sensor light in/on them. And something is most definitely wrong with them! If you move even slightly in bed (ie. move your arm, etc) the light in the switch starts flashing. And yes, that one light will set the others off. In that same area was a line of same lights, about five or six (?), across the ceiling that would randomly flash in the dark as well. They would all stop, but the ceiling lights would start flashing for no apparent reason. They were fairly bright, but did not throw light into the room. If you turned your back to them you could not tell they were there. Even simply shutting my eyes worked. It was a bit unsettling, though. For a one night stop over the place is okay, but I wouldn't want to spend more than that there. less

Dear Denise L,
Thank you for taking the time to write a review for our property. We are pleased to announce we have ordered new, high quality furniture for all of our guest rooms. We hope to have all furniture installed within the next 90 days. Also, we have received several complaints about our touch/motion sensor light switches. This was an issue with a couple of our rooms, and have since been corrected. Over time, the switches become overly sensitive and need replaced. We apologize for this and hope you will return to visit again soon.
