The hotel general manager just called to bribe me into deleting my review. He would compensate me for deleting it. Repeatedly threatened to sue me for it with his "Corporate lawyers". After repeatedly threatening me I am not going to lie I called him a F'g idiot. He then went on a 2-3 minute long rant using words that no customer service person should be calling anyone. NEVERMIND he was the general manager. He threatened me over and over again. I have the call recorded (Which I hit record when he started threatening to sue me if I did not accept his bribe to delete my reviews. Here is what happened I stayed 10/9/20. The hotel staff had no ppe worn. This included the overnight staff as well as the "manager". The manager had his on his chin and ONLY pulled it up when I confronted hom about it.
This trip had accident with elevator, asked for elevator inspection certificate to get company name. They did not have it displayed in the elevator, asked the female front desk clerk for it. She refused to provide it. When calling manager at 9:50 pm she was rude, disrespectful and yelled at me.
Called to complain about dirty room. She dismissed my complaints and suggested I clean it off if I wasn't happy. It was the nightstand and phone. Pics of the phone are posted. less

First of all from Best Western Cape Cod no one had called you and threatened to remove the review. Get your facts right, you stayed at many hotel and make sure to get your information right. do not LIE when you right review.
another LIE from you is that no one was wearing FACE MASK, we had one staff member who has SEVERE ASTHMA, and by the GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS, any individual who has HEALTH ISSUE, does not requite to wear a FACE MASK. We do make sure that he gets regularly tested for COVID. We do have all the paperwork for proof.
You have dropped you CAR KEY inside ELEVATOR SHAFT, again not a hotels FAULT. We have called elevator company right away and they have advised us that associate will be at hotel first thing in the morning, and it was after 10:30 PM. You were not going anywhere that late, because you had booked stay with us. We do know that.
I had confirmed with my two staff members and other hotel guest that you were very RUDE and RACIST towards my AFRICAN AMERICAN employee. You used F...... WORD and cursed her out while she was trying to help you.
You also said F...... BLACK LIVES DOES NOT MATTER and all other bad words you have to say to her.
This is totally no right behavior from you, we tried our best to help you in that situations.
We have INSPECTED the rooms before we are given you the key and there was no ISSUE with room. There was COFFEE or SODA stain were there when you left, and we know that you had your son stayed in the room as well so you should ask him about spilling drink on HOTEL PHONE. Do not Blame hotel for everything.
I wanted to make sure other Guest know about the whole incidents.
