So when we first arrived not only did the person working yell at someone for walking down the stairs too loudly, but he said, “ what’s this about?” When my youth group entered the hotel. So we brushed it off and went to our rooms. At one point I was in the room alone because I had homework. While I was doing it I hear a knock at the door and when I answer it, it’s the employee and he says “ I’m gonna have to ask you to be quiet because the lady next door is complaining that you are too loud.” So I looked around the room in shock because I literally hadn’t said a word and then I said “ ok I’ll keep it down.” When everyone else in my room returned I told them what happened and next thing I know someone is banging on our door. Not knocking, but banging. So I answer it and he says “ the lady next door called and said that you were going to file a complaint against me.” And I was just standing there confused. He continued to talk and said “ if there’s a problem then you need to tell me now.” I was just standing there dumbfounded at how totally unprofessional this was. And then he said” my manager knows I’m a good worker so it doesn’t matter if you send one in or not.” At this point I was angry because not only was it unprofessional, but he was causing a scene in the middle of the hall for no reason. Then after all of this he tried to smooth it over by saying he’ll make sure he brings us extra blankets. Then the next day the hotel calls our church saying that we acted terrible while we were there and a bunch of other stuff. There is no telling what that man told his boss about us. The reason we didn’t file a complaint was because we just wanted to stay for one night and we wanted to leave right when we woke up. We didn’t want to cause any trouble. So we will never stay there again. No grown adult should ever com banging on the room of a bunch of kids and start accusing them of doing something they didn’t do. Terrible. less

Thank you for notifying me about the issues you experienced at the Best Western Campbellsville Inn. I wanted to take a moment to address the issues that occurred the night of your check in. Also how concerned I was to hear of the situation. After nine pm that evening there were many complaints from several rooms about the excessive noise levels from rooms adjacent to them and unruly behavior of several under aged guests staying with us. Our associates from the front desk had to address these complaints many times. We do apologize if you were inconvenienced by these events and the actions that had to be taken. The staff and I are always concerned about the well being of our guests. We will immediately address any of our guests concerns to ensure all our guests have a comfortable and safe stay with us. To clarify the contact made to the establishment that paid for rooms, there were hotel items taken from the rooms that needed to be paid for and the credit card holder needed an explanation of these charges. We do appreciate your patronage and hope this inconvenience will not keep you from returning. We like to make sure that all of our guests have a nice, comfortable stay.
