This is the second year in a row we've stayed at this hotel. Last year we stayed in a room facing the Yellowstone River, which helped a lot. This year we stayed in a room that was basically shut in from the outside world. The beds were not to our liking and neither were the pillows. The carpet was old and stained in places. The room was not filthy, but give me a Holiday Inn Express any day. On our 7 day vacation, this hotel was the most expensive, along with being the least liked of our trip. It's close to Yellowstone, it was relatively quiet, parking was not that favorable with motorcycles, cars, along with trucks with trailers everywhere. I guess what really caused me to write this review, was the fact that we were quoted prices for the stay when we checked in. I had made the reservation 6 months earlier .My wife checked us out the next morning as I pulled the car up to the main entrance and she said they added an additional 8 dollars on top of our quoted price. I asked her what was that
for and she said "let's get out of here" and down the road we went. Oh well, what do you expect for just under $300 a night. less
