We pre-booked our hotel through hotwire.ca. When we arrived at check in the customer service rep seemed totally disinterested in what she was doing. Not a smile - she checked myself, partner and two kids into a one king bed room. There was a green mattress near the window. Don't know if they expected my kids to sleep on a single green plastic mattress on the window sill.
I went down stairs and requested to be moved to a room with two beds, the same disinterested woman looked at me and said, sorry we don't have any rooms available, there is nothing I can do you made a mistake when you booked not my fault.
I requested to speak to a manager, she said, sorry no manager on duty just me.
I asked for a cot or roll a way bed, I was told that they removed them all when they renovated so there was nothing she could do.
I asked her about the green mattress on the window sill which she said she knew nothing about. less
