Sterile environment, but lots of dust.

.This hotel was fine for our short stay. But there are a few comments. My wife found it to be quite dusty. The top of the couch had a thick layer of dust on it. A lot. No vacuuming in years, I'd say. Also, the vacuum never gets stuck under the bed. huge dust bunnies under there. Normally, a bit of dust is OK. But here they seemed to encourage the accumulation. Breakfast was expensive and boring. I had one tasteless "pancake". It was thin, obviously from a frozen pack, and had been broken in half before it was thawed. OK, so far no big deals, just quirks. The last quirk is the staff refusal to either fry or boil an egg. I asked a waitress. "Hotel policy" was the reply. I asked if she could make an exception for my wife who likes boiled eggs. NO! was the reply. Bizarre. If you book here, beware the hot water. Scalding is a real possibility. less

Thank you for your review. I am sorry that you experienced dust in your room, I will look into that immediately. With regard to your breakfast request, boiled eggs, as it is not on our breakfast menu as one of the types offered we do not have anything to put them in for service to the guest. You will have noticed that not many hotels offer this type of egg as the variance of soft/medium/hard can cause quite a problem, getting the right cooking time is a constant source of annoyance to guests. This is why we had to take them off the menu some years ago. The serving staff should have explained this to you so again I am sorry for this. I do hope you were comfortable in your room and that the other services and staff experiences were up to standard. Thank you for bringing these items to my attention.
