OMG..... PLEASE DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE PHOTOS THEY SHOW YOU! There is a newer part of the hotel, but that's not where you will get to stay. I booked a King Bed suite, and when I checked in I was told all they had was a double. Then I was sent to the Back of the hotel. Which is obviously a dated much older part. My room was dirty, there was dired up dog poop laying in the floor, crackes in the tub, dirt and grim swept into the corner. The AC/Heater would work right so we asked for two extra blankets. My wife was told we don't do extra blankets. This place is deplorable. Never Again!
UDATE!!! So I removed this post right after I posted it. I figured I would give them the benifit of the doubt, after all we where only stayi g for one night. I don't know who. Mis represented to place Trip Advisor, Priceline or the hotel/motel. We then at 12:40 AM I hear a loud banging on my door, keep in mind my children(3 & 8)are sleeping. I figured it to be some drunk college kid looking for the wrong room, I mean we are right by the Frat houses. So I figured they would go away, well they didn't. I answer the door to see a security guard with the General Manager. I can see he is upset, and proceeds to ask me what going on. I said excuse me? He said why did you call price line and why did you make a post like that. I said well because priceline didn't book me in the right room, and as far as the post yes the room is dirty, the tub is cracked, the is infact dirt grime and debris in the corner of the bathrooms and there is dried dog poop I our room. We went back and forth for a while until I was told we "we reversed the charges, so now what do you want me to do..." I said what do you mean, are you kicking us out? He said well I am trying to rent rooms and I could have rented this one to somone else. By this time my wife and come outside she was completely appalled. While asking why they were doing this she made the comment, " I can't believe y'all are acting like this yet when I called the front desk and ask for extra blankets you told me" we don't do extra blankets" the situation became very uncomfortable, and I understand how the manager was upset with my review although it was a completely honest review even if I had woke up in the morning I want to lock the same review. Everything that I listed was the truth as you'll see in the photos below. After making a comment "I know people like you people who like gaming the system and trying to get something for free" the manager stuck his hand out it said fine you know what you're getting it for free and walks away. I told my wife I said why I won't be able to go back to sleep I said who knows if they're going to decide to change their mind and come beat on the door again my wife agreed. Well they came back this time with the extra blankets read originally requested two and a half hours prior. This time the manager had to pronounce in his hands 1 of the original post had made but had deleted and a receipt saying showing where everything is suppose to be refunded to Priceline. I went outside to talk to him even though by now I children or awake and it seems like he had had a chance to calm down it's still arguing the point that it didn't matter what he did is it mean if he charged my card again that I would just dispute it and have my card company reverse the charges and then I put him in a tough spot. He said I can't kick you out now that I know there's children involved, yet when I checked in I told him my reservation set for two people only despite me listening two adults and two children on the reservation so I can confirmed they would be OK and he said oh yes there good. He knew my kids where in there. Even if he wasn't happy with the post I made or the phone call to Priceline and since he apparently knew what I would do it regardless and the room is paid for why wouldn't you just wait until the morning when I check out address for situation instead of beating on a family's room door where everyone is asleep. Ads shot the new 2016 hotel, but you end up in the 1972 motel in the back. less
