Fist Night was fine, food was great, service was good, room was fine. second night a woman and her kids turned up late, the room 25 has a door to join to room 26 the door is too thin and you can hear the people talking in the next room like the door was not there at all. worst night I have had in a long time. I asked for another room but was told there was none. but there was empty car parks so im not sure if that was true. less
Joel W, General Manager at Best Western Ascot Lodge Motor Inn, responded to this review
Dear "Matt F"
Thank you for taking the time to review your recent experience with us.
It is great to hear that you enjoyed the room, food and service during your stay - the comfort and satisfaction of all guests is our number one priority.
I am terribly sorry to learn of the loud noise you had encountered during your second night with us. There are actually two doors in between our interconnecting rooms and though this is usually very effective in blocking noise pollution, I can understand this is not always the case when staying next door to a family with young children.
I also apologise for not being able to move you to another room on this night. Unfortunately most of Goondiwindi, including Best Western, were fully booked due to the recent Annual Boarding School Exhibition held by the town.
Your satisfaction is important to us and we will be using the feedback you gave us to implement improvements to ensure we offer a better experience for guests in the future.
I hope that you will consider staying with us again so that we can have another chance to provide you with a superior experience.
