Searched for a hotel with at least three stars, and was disgusted when we showed up to find a motel. In what universe does a motel advertise itself as a three star hotel?
Once we got settled, the air conditioner, set on low, kicked on every few minutes and sounded like an F-16 on afterburner, waking all of us up all night long. Finally turned it off at 2AM.
The floor of the room was dingy, and the drain in the sink was slow.
On the plus side, the receptionist in the morning was very friendly. less

I'm sorry to hear that you did not enjoy the rest of your stay. We strive to exceed our guest's expectations and are sad when that does not happen. I would like to follow up with you on some of your feedback for clarification. Our star rating is based on our amenities and offerings and is not something we choose arbitrarily. It is a rating based on specific criteria set by the site that you see the rating on. I apologize for the air conditioner being too loud. We clean them regularly and replace them or fix them as soon as we know of a problem. Our maintenance team has addressed the problem with that particular AC unit. I apologize for not catching the problem prior to your arrival. I'm sorry to hear that the carpet was too dingy. I want you to know that our carpets are cleaned by a professional carpet cleaning business periodically along with our housekeepers daily cleaning. The drain has been seen to so that it drains much faster now. Thank you for letting us know so that we could address it for the benefit of our future guests. I have sent you a private email with an offer for a large discount off a future stay. If you have any additional feedback, please let me know. I can assure you that your experience was not the norm at our motel, and we would love to have another opportunity to prove that. Thanks again for your feedback.
