AWFUL customer service which is a shame because I have stayed here previously in mid 2021 and it was pleasant enough. Having booked the holiday weekend several months in advance, with 4 days to go before jubilee weekend, they called and cancelled my booking. No reason given. Just nope, it’s cancelled, goodbye.
I asked for an alternative and was told that was outwith their control (very good but get someone who can) and then to add insult to injury, they’ve already taken payment despite it being payment ON ARRIVAL. This money now floats in their system for 2 WEEKS until I get it back. By which time the weekend away is long gone.
Thankfully I booked through booking.com (the hotel staff didn’t answer the phone to them!) who are sorting this out for me.
Top tip - BOOK SOMEWHERE, ANYWHERE ELSE, if you want to actually go on your trip. less

All OTA have been advised and we are in constant communication with them to ensure that any deposits are refunded as a matter of urgency
