I stayed here for 5 nights at the beginning of September, the first stop on a 3 city trip to Italy. It is located at the end of a quiet street off Termini Station and very conveniently located if you are coming in from the airport or the train station. It’s not in the hustle and bustle of Rome, which for me was a big plus, but it is walking distance to many of the main attractions, including a 15 minute walk to the Trevi Fountain and about 20 minutes or so to the Colosseum. The Pantheon is about a 40 minute walk. The Vatican is across town, and after taking a taxi there (I think it was about 16 euros) for an early morning tour, I walked back from the Vatican to the hotel, which took me just over an hour. If you are a walker, you can certainly do most of the city on foot from this hotel.
The hotel and my room were very clean. It was very quiet at night for sleeping, even though I faced the street (if you open the window, you can sometimes hear the musician at the restaurant up the street, which was lovely). The mattress and pillow were very firm, which I prefer, and I had the best sleep I have ever had in a hotel while staying here. It was very hot in Rome and the AC worked perfectly. The shower and tub were quiet small, and moving around was not easy, but everything was fully functional and restocked with towels and products daily. The staff was friendly and helpful, and I had no issue with the service provided. The breakfast is very good and worth the 3 euros (half of what breakfast cost me in Venice, and easily three times the choices). I would highly recommend this hotel for a short term or longer term (week or more) stay in Rome. less
