I stayed for one night at this hotel on my recent Switzerland tour. I have booked all 4 stars hotels during my trip, so I was really disappointed when I saw our room. We arrived late at night and maybe we got one of the last rooms. Regardless, this was not of a 4 star standard, a tired 3 stars at best!
When we got to our room it was stinky and we opened the window to let fresh air get in. The room was spacious, but tired and in need of maintenance. In the toilet, the sink was cracked and we discovered that the stinky smell was coming from the toilet. When you would flush it, there was a little hole opening up and a lot of smell was coming from there. So we kept the door to the toilet closed for the night. As we were on the ground floor, we did not have any view, but that did not bother me. The reception area and the restaurant had a cozy feel and that was nice. We would have liked to use the spa facilities the next day, but only the pool was open in the morning and the rest would only open after 3pm, presumably to save money? Therefore we have paid for facilities which we could not use as we had to leave before 3pm to go to our next destination. Someone mentioned in the reviews that there are bathrobes and slippers available in the room, but none were present in our room. We checked out early and they had no storage room to put our suitcases, they did not even have any sort of a tag system. The electric vehicles that take you to the train station were in front of the hotel but no one offered their services to us. Maybe they were out of use or more saving money exercise.
All in all, compared to other 4 stars hotel in Switzerland this was the worst. I would grade this as a poor 3 star hotel at best, but will never go back to it. It probably got its 4 stars 20 years ago, but is now in need of major updating!
If you're lucky you may get a better room, but personally I would not recommend this hotel. less

Thank you very much for staying with us. We are very sorry, that we could not meet some expectations.
We apologize for the problem with the toilet. Normally they are working very good and the clienliness of the toilet is very important for us.
The opening hours of the Spa area are published on our webpage and all booking pages. Pool 8am -9pm. Sauna 3pm - 9pm. Of course we open earlier on bad days or when guets are asking us.
Near the recpetion we have a storage room for bags, please just ask us for it.
The shuttle Service to the train station is available and indeed free for all guests - just ask at the Reception for this service.
