This is a lovely hotel, which I would definitely recommend. The reception/lounge area and rooms are absolutely spotless and very nicely decorated. Our room had excellent air conditioning and all the usual things you would expect (tea/coffee making, safe etc) and a very comfortable bed. The rooms are all named after film stars, which is a nice little quirk. There was a little noise one night, but nothing much.
The hotel is well located, very near the train/bus station, so if you are using Tours as a base for exploring the Loire Valley, you can be at the station in 2 minutes. Or the bar outside it! The hotel is 3-4 minutes walk from the tram stop, which takes you to/from the airport (albeit badly signposted). It is about a 10 minute walk to the main shops and 15-20 minutes to Place Plumereu, where all the main restaurants and bars are.
The staff were lovely and helpful. The only minor problem was a breakfast was incorrectly charged to our bill, but that was immediately corrected once I spotted it.
We didn't try breakfast, as there are some lovely places to get something in the morning (the briocherie opposite the station is great) or use the gym, so can't comment on those. All in all, I'd definitely recommend the hotel and would stay again. less
