Arrived to find our room is on the second floor of a building with no elevator after five long, intense days of work in southern ontario, then driving to the hotel in order to be closer to Pearson for an early morning flight back across the country.
We loaded our bags onto the trolley, the man at the counter, after some prodding, was kind enough to aide us in bringing them up the two flights of stairs. There we found 2 old, decrepit trolleys. We chose the one furthest from its death, loaded it up and proceeded down the long, wavy ( that's correct for floor is indeed not flat. It is noticeably, and almost humorously mountainous) hallway. So wavy in fact that it takes 2 people to maneuver the trolley as some rises are so steep one person needs to lift the front end.
We arrived, finally, to a very nice room, with no place new the bed to charge your cell phone (unlike every other BW ever?)... doesn't everyone use their phone as an alarm these days? So we went to unplug the alarm clock to plug in one of our phones ... the outlet was lose in the electrical box. No joke. Pulled about 3/8ths of an inch out of the wall with the cord. Nice.
So. We spent the night. Like I said, nice room, clean, etc....
But just not a nice hotel. Same man helped us with our bags in the a.m.
Not sure what we would have done if the desk staff hadn't have been as cooperative?
Usually I'm 100% Best Western.. but I'd say steer clear of this one, sorry. less
