Stayed here for a night with the family during the labour day long weekend.
Room was clean and spacious and the staff was friendly.
We enjoyed the complementary breakfast and liked the fact that the pool was open quite late.
Being one of the busiest weekends of the year, the hotel was quite full. When we went down for breakfast in the morning, it was clear that they were somewhat understaffed to handle the rush of people waiting to eat.
For the most part, there was just one gentleman tasked with restocking the food and taking care of the buffet line. It was a stressful and chaotic situation, but at no point did he look frazzled. In fact he always had a smile on his face, was joking around with the patrons and was utterly professional. I commended him on his great work, though forgot to get his name, and wanted to make a note of that here.
Sometimes it's not just the room that leaves you with a good impression of a hotel. less
