Rated this hotel a 3 only because of the room assigned to us. Other than that I would give it a four or 4.5 for the price. If you have a choice, choose a room opposite train side of hotel. Should have thought to use room fan to help block out train sounds which most Ellensburg hotels need to deal with. The train runs right through town and this hotel is within 1/8th of a mile, has a very loud whistle, and runs every two hours all night long. In addition, avoid room 313 which has a large spotlight shining right at the room window from a rooftop a couple yards below. Hotel management said they are looking into making appropriate changes but until they do I would not recommend this room. In fact we checked in at 3 PM and wondered why we were assigned that room at all. On the positive side the rooms are clean, lovely and comfortable as is the entire hotel. The staff could not be more accommodating or friendly so it is a shame that a good nights sleep was not part of our stay. breakfast was good as well. less

It was a pleasure to provide you with clean and comfortable accommodations during your visit to Ellensburg. We highly appreciate all of your constructive comments as they will help us continue to improve.
We are glad you were treated with friendly and helpful service throughout your stay, as we would expect nothing less of our personnel. It saddens us to learn that, although you enjoyed most aspects of your stay, we fell short in delivering a restful night's sleep. As we mentioned, we are working on making appropriate changes to ensure our guests are able to get the peaceful sleep they seek.
We would love to host you again during any future visits to the area. Thanks again for all of your comments!
