We have just spent 2 nights here in order to see Historic Williamsburg. The lobby and breakfast area have clearly just been refurbished and are lovely but whilst the rest of the hotel is very clean, it tends to be dark and quite dated. The receptionists are wonderful and so are the waiters who keep the breakfast area spotless and filled up. What a team. It was lovely to have a coffee maker and a fridge in our room. I don't know if taxis are available but be warned it is quite a long, but extremely pleasant walk to Colonial Williamsburg but so worth it. Tickets are $40 dollars which gets you into certain venues, but we chose to just walk round. Certainly worth seeing. less
