I would like to give this hotel 5 stars, but not everyone can be happy. Let me start by saying the staff has been very professional and tried to be accommodating. Everything started when my family and I checked in yesterday and went up to our room. The second we opened the door, we were hit by the smell of dog urine. I own two large dogs myself and can understand some animal smell. After all, this hotel is pet friendly. But the last thing I want to smell when I am paying for a room on a family vacation is dog pee! I am very surprised that housekeeping let that room slide for "clean". The gentleman at the desk apologized and gave us a new room on the same floor, different hallway. Problem solved right!? Nope! The new room is right next to the elevator. Now I listen to "ding" and the conversations and kids screaming all night while the guests wait for the elevator to come to the second floor.
Now hear I am at 6:15 am, on vacation with my family laying in bed listening to the people, or heard of animals in the room above me that have been pacing for the last hour. Time to get up and go home.
I understand that some of this is completely out of the control of the hotel however, it started with dog pee in my first room. I'm sure this made me a bit sensitive. I travel a lot for work and am a diamond elite member with BW. This has been the worst experience by far at a BW hotel.

Thank you for your review. We were pretty full and not sure if you requested a pet friendly room or not. That said, there is NEVER an excuse for not having a perfectly clean room to welcome you and the issue and employee have been taken care of. I wish you would have called the 24 hour front desk and we would have contacted the guest above you to be quite. Our hotel is pretty new and we have a new elevator but I have called our repair service to check on if/why it may be noisy. I hope you will give us another chance.
