Is Brighton a good night out?

Whether your thing is drinking, dining, or dancing, Brighton has something for you. The Office has 40 different gins, Bohemia houses the Late Lounge and the Grand Café, perfect for cocktails, and if you can find the Hobgoblin, you’re in for a student-style treat, including Tequila Tuesdays and Lemon Wednesdays. Fine Dining rubs shoulders with great street food across the city, and you can dance the night away at an underground jazz club, or one of the many nightclubs in The Lanes.

Is Brighton Good for a Hen Do?

Girls are just gonna have fun here. Get your hen planner to book you in for a vintage makeover with The Beauty Artist and transport your hens to the 1920s, 1940s or 1960s before heading off for a posh afternoon tea at Metrodeco in Kemptown, or Julien Plumart in Queens Road. If you’ve got the nerve, you can have burlesque lessons at Just Dance or Veronica Blacklace. Finally, when you’re all up to your eyes in glamour, start on the cocktails at Twisted Lemon, Gungho or Golden Pineapple.

When is the Brighton Festival?

The Brighton Festival is one of the largest annual multi-arts festivals in Europe. The 2022 Festival runs from 7-29 May. It encompasses music, theatre, art, film, circus, literature and debate, and hosts a multitude of events for visitors of all ages and interests. The first Festival was held in 1967, so you can be sure organisers know exactly what they’re doing to bring together the best there is.

Alongside all manner of bakeries and gallery coffee shops, top lunch spots in Brighton offer food from any of the world’s great cuisines in lunchtime bite-sizes. Take the kids to one of the three branches of Fatto a Mano for perfect pizza, bag a stool at 64 Degrees and watch the team put together small plates of greatness, or plough into hand-made salads at Oseta Café near Tower Point.
