Sharon Gless - Cagney from Cagney and Lacey - returns to the West End in a direct transfer from the Riverside Studios of Jane Juska's A Round-Heeled Woman at the Aldwych Theatre. Jane Prowse directs her own adaptation of Juska's book.
Juska, a retired, divorcee English teacher, placed the following advert in the New York Times: "Before I turn 67, next March, I would like to have a lot of sex with a man I like. If you want to talk first, Trollope works for me." She got 63 replies from men aged between 32 and 84, and Sharon Gless recrreates Juska's experiences, originally related in her book, subtitled My late-life adventrues in sex & romance.
And, rathter like London buses, Tyne Daley (Lacey to Gless' Cagney) arrives in the West End just as A Round-Heeled Woman closes!
