Built for Queen Anne in 1704, The Orangery in Kensington Gardens provides the quintessential English afternoon tea in opulent and peaceful surroundings. Fruit scones with clotted cream and jam, traditional cakes and neatly-cut sandwiches tempt many a tourist and families on a day out.
The Orangery Tea is all you'd expect of a traditional afternoon tea, and the Champagne tea is a lavish upgrade with champagne, smoked salmon and Belgian chocolate cake. The two Tregothnan teas are the most expensive of the four options.
