Aberdeen's clean, sandy beach stretches two miles with an Esplanade alongside that makes for a refreshing walk. There are also various entertainment options along the seafront, including a funfair, multiplex cinema, leisure centre with fun pool and ice rink.

The water might be a bit parky in winter, but that doesn't stop the fun. People come from all over to indulge in a spot of surfing, kite surfing, kayaking, swimming (for the hardier among us) or just to enjoy a nice walk.
