Festive Package - 3 nights
Start date: 24/12/2012
Christmas Eve
Take your time...and take afternoon tea in front of the roaring log fire, with a selection of sandwiches, homemade scones, jam and cream.
Christmas songs and carols played by our keyboard vocalist will make for merry music in the lounge, prior to a Black Tie (optional) 4-course candlelit dinner...and a torchlit walk to Wroxton Church for midnight mass later. Hot chocolate and mince pies await before bed!
Christmas Day
After a full Oxfordshire breakfast, work up an appetite with a wintry walking treasure hunt through the 'chocolate box' village of Wroxton. A glass of 'bubbly' will be served prior to a traditional 4-course Christmas Day Lunch in the Restaurant, and if you have left enough room we'll unwrap an afternoon tea and Christmas cake in the lounge whilst watching the Queen's speech. For those still hungry, a carved buffet will be served in the Restaurant in the evening...for a truly happy end to a happy Christmas.
Boxing Day
Start with a full Oxfordshire breakfast once again, before watching the traditional hunt meet at Upton House, taking a walk through the grounds of Batsford Arboretum, strolling along the river and through the historical town of nearby Stratford-upon-Avon or hitting the sales at Bicester village. When you return, it's another afternoon tea and a relaxing snooze in front of the fire for a well earned rest, before another fabulous 4-course dinner with table magic during dinner followed by live entertainment from acclaimed singer Lee Perry.
27th December
Join us for the final feast of a wonderful stay, with another full Oxfordshire breakfast before departing.

Another full Oxfordshire breakfast awaits before you explore the beautiful Oxfordshire and Cotswold countryside... or take a tour of the 'Dreaming Spires' of Oxford. Then, a relaxing 4-course dinner will be served in Restaurant '1649'.
28th December
Your final feast will set you up for an enjoyable journey homeward, with our best wishes and some happy memories to keep you company.
New Year Package - 2 nights

New Year's Eve
Arrive in time for afternoon tea in front of the roaring log fire, with a selection of sandwiches, homemade scones, jam and cream. Make it a night to remember starting with a complimentary cocktail and a flutter on the casino tables before you move onto a winner of a 7-course AA rosette dinner (black tie optional). Return to the casino tables after dinner and have some footloose fun with dancing to our resident disco until 1am. A complimentary glass of 'bubbly' will be served to celebrate the arrival of 2013.
New Year's Day
A traditional Oxfordshire breakfast will be served before you get out and about in Wroxton village on our treasure hunt, watch the hunt meet at Upton House or head to Bicester or Stratford upon Avon for the best bargain buys in the sales. Afternoon tea and homemade cakes will be waiting in front of the log burning stove in the lounge upon your return. A 4-course candelit dinner will be served followed by live entertainment from the acclaimed Nicky Moran Duo.
2nd January
Another wonderful traditional breakfast will do just the trick before you bring your super stay to an end with fond farewells.
