Breakfast Information
For Breakfast we offer a continental or full English option. There is always a selection of fresh fruit, yoghurts, pastries for you to enjoy. We also offer a wide range of teas and coffees with a selection of toast. Our cooked produce is sourced locally and our milk is from 1/2 mile away at a local organic dairy.
Dinner Information
We offer a choice of restaurants. Either the traditional Farmers Bar with a warming log fire during the winter months where we serve a good selection of bar meals and sharing platters. We also have the more contemporary Hansard's restaurant which has gained an AA rosette status for service and quality of food. We are currently offering 3 courses for £18.95

Our fine dining restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy good food with a side order of AA rosette quality! All our food is sourced locally and prepared by our long serving chef.

Library Tower
We offer a superb dining experience in Hansards library tower. The cost is £45.00 per person and includes 1/2 bottle of wine, a drink on arrival and a delicious 3 course meal and coffe and homemade truffles. All in the surroundings of a private library tower with your own personal waiter to serve your every need.

Hansards
Hansard's restaurant is an award winning aa rosetted restaurant. You can relax in the lounge and have a glass or wine while you look over the menu. The restaurant has recently been decorated to a high standard. We source all produce locally and aim to serve to a very high standard.

Farmers Bar
This traditional bar offer a wide range of bar meals salads sandwiches and is well know locally for an excellent value carvery. We serve food in here all day and have a suberb patio area to enjoy when the weather is nice. We also have a childrens outdoor play area, which is located near the patio

Steve has been at the hotel for 22 years, and during that time has achieved a number of accolades. Including dining awards from RAC and an AA rosette. He gives his time to help children at the local Darlington college, and has recently helped in organising a junior masterchef competition
