Our 32 comfortable bedrooms all have Tea/Coffee-making facilites, radio alarm, ironing centre, flat screen freeview TV and guest toiletries. All have secondary or double-glazed windows which open and guest-controlled radiators. No air-conditioning - just fans on request. Most people never hear any trains.

Our Rooms
Standard Rooms
Standard rooms vary in size & character. We have no ground floor rooms, but have a lift to all floors. Top floor rooms have some coombed ceilings which most guests find charming but taller guests less so! On the 1st & 2nd floors, ceilings are higher & most rooms are airier. Half of our rooms have bath with shower & the others have walk-in showers. 1 pair of adjoining rooms. Decor throughout is fairly traditional; refurbishment is on-going.
Superior
We have just 4 Superior Rooms, these being more spacious than Standard Rooms, making them preferable for extended stays. All currently have jacuzzi bath, a small seating area and 32" Flat screen Freeview internet-ready TV. 2 have Four-post beds, 1 has a rollaway bed and all can accommodate 1 or 2 folding beds for children under 12.
