Jersey Zoo

The unique sanctuary and breeding centre at Jersey Zoo was founded by the famous naturalist Gerald Durrell. Known as the "zoo that's not a zoo", the centre is the headquarters of the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust, a worldwide organisation dedicated to saving animals from extinction. It's also a brilliant place to spend the day in the company of some of the world's most intriguing animals.

Set in the historic harbour area of St Helier, the Maritime Museum explores the sea and man's relationship with it. Jersey's island-dwellers have spent the last 8000 years dealing with the sea around them, the museum focuses on their extensive maritime heritage.

Shell Garden

A charming folly begun in 1957 by Colin Soudain, Jersey's Shell Garden features walls, paths and sculptures made from millions of shells from Jersey molluscs. The shells are added to each year, and include those of famous local shellfish, the ormer.

Jersey War Tunnels

The Jersey War Tunnels are a chilling reminder of Nazi occupation and an inspiring insight into Jersey's resilience during the Second World War. Visitors can walk the subterranean complex, follow the War Trail and pause in the Garden of Reflection.

Jersey Air Display

The Jersey Air Display above St Aubin's Bay features the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and the Red Arrows performing flypasts and acrobatics. The bay provides a natural amphitheatre for the display aircraft and offers spectators many vantage points.
