Dining Options at Moor Hall

A warm welcome awaits you when you dine at Moor Hall Hotel & Spa. With two restaurants and a lounge bar and terrace you have plenty of dining options at this country house hotel. Moor Hall was originally built in the 1500s by Bishop Vesey who regularly entertained royalty here. Over the years it changed hands and rebuilt many times until the current hall was built in the early 1900s by Colonel Edward Ansell. You can see many of the original design features including wood carving, stained class windows, ornate ceilings and stonework in The Oak Room restaurant and Lounge Bar. For light snacks and casual dining choose the Lounge Bar & Terrace with its menu featuring burgers, salads, tapas, pizzas and sandwiches. For hearty comfort food head to The Country Kitchen for a great value three course carvery dinner. For fine dining choose the AA Rosette Oak Room restaurant. Afternoon Tea is also served daily from 1pm with cakes and scones made in the hotel by the pastry chef. Whatever dining option you choose, you'll enjoy delicious dishes created by the passionate and talented chefs.

Set at the end of a long tree-lined drive in delightful surroundings and convenient for local churches, the hotel's sweeping lawns and historic sunken garden provide a unique and picturesque backdrop for your wedding photographs. Attractively landscaped grounds in the summer and open fires and oak panelling in the winter set the perfect romantic scene.
