This is the only hotel in York to offer the option of photos on the City Walls with the Minster as the back-cloth - the perfect setting! Our room for Civil Ceremonies has lighting to match your theme, and for the table you ll find that we've matched your theme through the table plan, the menu printing and the colour of the napkins. There's a private integral bar, a large dance floor and air-conditioning - the perfect room for your perfect day!
Catering
We are very flexible. In addition to the usual fare, we've catered for brides who wanted fish and chips, grooms who wanted steak and Yorkshire ale pie, and even a full vegan wedding too! Whatever you want, we'll make it happen.
Honeymoon suite
Our four poster rooms are perfect for romance! Beautifully furnished with big fluffy pillows, the bathrooms all have double walk-in showers too! Our more traditional four poster overlooks Monk Bar whilst the most contemporary is in the Courtyard at the back of the hotel. When you book your wedding here for sixty guests or more, you have a Four Poster with our compliments and a bottle of champagne and chocolates - how lovely is that!
