Mumbles Pier opened in 1898, built as a terminus for the Swansea to Mumbles Railway. It has since moved on from its sedate beginnings and houses all the "traditional" entertainment you'd expect from a British pier....chips, flashing arcade games, bowling and a pub included. It also has its own little beach, and rockpooling underneath the pier is popular in the summer.
