Hotels near the Glasgay!

First held in 1994, Glasgow's queer cultural festival - wittily entitled Glasgay! - paints Scotland's second city pink (and many other colours) each autumn. Since its inception, Glasgay! has grown ten-fold, now welcoming 35,000 visitors to 20 venues across the city.

Glasgay! is definitely the UK's largest multi-arts festival for multi-sexual people (and their friends) and offers an eclectic programme of performance, film, theatre, music and visual arts.

Celebrating the talent and diversity within the Scottish lesbian and gay community (and way beyond) the festival also provides a platform for aspiring artists.

The full festival programme is released in early autumn, detailing all the theatre, music, dance, comedy, film and clubs jostling for attention in the manic assault on the artistic senses.
