The 2011 Sound Festival brings together 124 artists in 73 events from Red Note Ensemble and National Theatre of Scotland's production of Philip Glass' 1000 Airplanes on the Roof at Woodend Barn, Banchory to a vocal final day, with a workshops with EXAUDI and performances of Fredrik Sixten's Requiem and Con Anima Chamber Choir's conjuction of Rennaisance and contemporary madrigals.
There's jazz, a feature on Britsh composer Julian Andreson and, with probably the most intriguing title of the whole festival, something called Buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo.
