Camp Bestival
Camp Bestival is the little sister festival of Bestival and takes place at Lulworth Castle near to the Dorset coast. With an emphasis on family fun and fantastic camping, the event presents an eclectic musical line-up.
Main stage headliners this year include Blondie, Mark Ronson and Katy B. The more intimate Insect Stage features an eclectic programme and a full DJ line-up overseen by organiser Rob da Bank.
Medieval-themed shows entertain families, while in the large Kids' Area big top shows, dressing-up tents, bouncy castles and a circus skills area jostle for space. The English National Ballet returns to the festival this year to run a series of workshops.
The festival camping experience comes with sofa-surrounded campfires, self-catering BBQ areas and better shower and toilet facilities. Comedy, spoken word and poetry reading takes place in themed tents, while the Saturday afternoon Mad Hatter's fancy dress tea party is a fun festival highlight.
