Abbots Bromley Horn Dance
The Abbots Bromley Horn Dance is a ritual dance that begins at St Nicholas Church and visits surrounding villages. Six men carrying reindeer horns are accompanied by a hobby horse, a fool, a Robin Hood figure and a Maid Marion.
The dance is one of the oldest ritual dances still performed in England, held to commemorate the historic acquisition of hunting rights by the villagers of Abbots Bromley to the nearby Needwood Forest.
