Bournemouth Air Festival
Begun in 2009, the Bournemouth Air Festival is already regarded as the largest event of its kind. Taking place over the bay between Bournemouth and Boscombe Piers, it features spectacular air displays and plenty of free family entertainment.
As ever, visitors to this year's show can expect adrenalin-pumping, high-velocity air displays while there's also much to do on ground level. One and a half miles of trade stands and stalls along the strand cater for all interests while a veterans' area celebrates the efforts of those who have defended the country and gives younger visitors the opportunity to learn more about the past.
