The Jewish Museum
Displays and exhibitions tell the story of Jewish history, culture and religion, offering the chance to explore Jewish heritage and identity as part of Britain's broader story.
The exhibits include a Medieval mikveh (a Jewish ritual bath) dating from the 13th century; a unique banner from the London Jewish Baker's Union; films of Jewish people from a smoked salmon producer to a marathon-running grandmother and a gallery dedicated to the accounts of British-born Holocaust survivor Leon Greenman OBE.
The revamped museum houses four permanent galleries and one special exhibition space, giving the wide variety of objects, films, photography and literature a suitable platform to portray British Jewish life.
