Cheltenham Music Festival

Cheltenham's Music Festival is a refreshing blend of old and new featuring around 60 events in approximately two weeks. It has a tradition of pairing the best of the classical repertoire with cutting-edge contemporary compositions.

Cheltenham was the first of the British post-war festivals - the first event took place just five weeks after the end of the Second World War.

The annual celebration brings some of the biggest names in classical music to the Town Hall and other venues around the town. The Festival Fringe includes dance, music, theatre performances and children's events, plus free street entertainment and fireworks.
