Mid Wales Beer Festival - Real Ale Wobble and Real Ale Ramble

The appositely named Real Ale Wobble and Real Ale Ramble see cycling and walking enthusiasts negotiating picturesque Welsh mountain terrain around Llanwrtyd Wells, "aided" by episodic bouts of drinking. The events are part of the Mid Wales Beer Festival.

Seemingly encouraging the simultaneous benefits of exercise and inebriation, the festival guides intrepid participants through some of the most majestic scenery in the country, with checkpoints on the way so that no-one wanders off... The Real Ale Wobble takes place on the first weekend and the Real Ale Ramble on the second.

There are a variety of real ales on offer, as well as entertainment in the evenings.
