The Phantom Of The Opera

Still packing them in at its original venue, Her Majesty's Theatre, Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera is directed by Hal Prince. Join Christine as the mysterious phantom helps her become the star of the Paris Opera.

Based on Gaston Leroux's 1911 novel Le Fantôme de l'Opéra and with lyrics by Richard Stilgoe and Charles Hart, it's a classic beauty and beast tale. In a white mask, hiding facial disfigurement, the phantom stalks the opera with eerie laughter and mysterious piano playing during rehearsals.

Only beautiful Christine is unnerved by his antics and, with his help, she becomes the star of the opera. But the phantom has a rival, courageous Viscount Raoul, so he kidnaps her and takes her to the catacombs of the Paris Opera...

On Tuesdays and Saturdays you can see the matinée of Phantom and then hot-tail it to the Adelphi Theatre to see Lloyd-Webber's sequel Love Never Dies.
