Other displays include Early Man, the Romans and Saxons, the history of Old Sarum and Salisbury, the Pitt Rivers collection, pottery, porcelain and Wedgwood in 17th-century rooms, a pre-NHS surgery, costume, lace and embroidery. There are also plenty of pictures, including Turner watercolours.
