Museum of the Jewellery Quarter

Hockley's Museum of the Jewellery Quarter retraces Birmingham's 250-year-old jewellery and metalworking legacy with live demonstrations, workshop recreations and pre-booked factory tours. Buy antique to contemporary trinkets from the museum's shop or wander the unique district's 200 listed buildings.

Set in the preserved workshops and offices of the Smith & Pepper Jewellery firm, visitors can watch skilled jewellers at work and explore the different techniques, raw materials and tools used by the craftsmen in their work. Contemporary jewellery by some of Birmingham's leading designers is also on display.
