Mamma Mia!

The worldwide phenomena, ABBA-based musical Mamma Mia! continues to prove immensely popular in London where it started its lengthy sojourn at the Prince Edward Theatre. It now continues its run at Cameron Mackintosh's splendidly refurbished Novello Theatre.

It tells the story of Donna, "a feisty 40-something single mum, who recalls distant memories of carefree days and careless nights whilst her daughter Sophie dreams of tradition, romance and a big white wedding..."

Amongst over 20 of ABBA's perennially popular hits you'll find Dancing Queen, Money, Money, Money, Take a Chance on Me and Knowing Me, Knowing You. Catherine Johnson's very enjoyable book under Phyllida Law's direction dovetails neatly with the songs, to make a irresistible, toe-tapping concoction - to ABBA fans at least!

Mamma Mia! transfers to London's Novello Theatre from September 2012
