Coombe Country Park

Coombe Country Park is 500 acres of historic parkland. Founded by Cistercian monks in 1150 it has taken ten centuries of cultivation to reach its present splendour. It now features beautiful gardens, woodlands and lakeside walks.

The Park's historic gardens have a moat, formal bedding displays and an impressive collection of trees. Wildfowl can also be found here and there's a tranquil seating area, ideal for picnics and feeding the ducks.

There's a ranger-led programme including family activities, guided walks and lectures. Wildlife lovers can use the large bird hide and there's top-class coarse fishing.
