Wolverhampton Art Gallery

This is Wolverhampton's most important gallery with an impressive permanent collection of Pop and contemporary art. The 18th and 19th century art galleries also contain works by Gainsborough, Turner and Landseer.

In addition to the core collection, there are also a touring and homegrown exhibition programme introducing gallery-goers to the diverse and thriving local art scene and various galleries devoted to bringing Wolverhampton's history to life.

The Café sells meals, light snacks and cakes while the Gallery shop has postcards, books and gifts.

A new extension to create a permanent gallery for the Pop Art collection is currently underway and is expected to be completed in 2006.
