Wimbledon Park Farmers' Market

Wimbledon's Lawn Tennis Club is not the only reason to drop by this leafy suburb in southwest London. If you call by Wimbledon Park First School on a Saturday, site of Wimbledon Farmers' Market, you'll discover a variety of trestles given over to hoards of prime English produce.

Farmers and producers from within a 100-mile radius come here each weekend to sell their fresh produce. If you need to know how it has been produced or grown, reared, caught, brewed, pickled or baked, just ask the farmer and they will tell you first-hand.

Produce varies from fruit juices to organic vegetables, including organic and free range meats (chicken, beef, lamb, pork, sausages, bacon and more). There are numerous organic breads and cakes. The organic trout comes hot and cold-smoked, or just plain fresh. There are buffalo cheeses, yoghurt and pastrami too.

Please note that produce and stands are liable to change each week.
