Keswick Beer Festival
Held annually since 1997, the Keswick Beer Festival has rapidly become the largest in the north of England. Housed in extensive marquees at the Rugby Club, it offers real ales alongside bottled continental beers, wines and ciders.
Considered locally to be one of the best party weekends of the year, the fun includes musical entertainment and often a charity rugby match between the Keswick Lions and Keswick Rugby Club, who both host the event. To soak up the beer there is a grill tent, with plenty of satisfyingly greasy food available, while bands provide the soundtrack should you suddenly be overcome with an urge to dance!
