Shugborough Candlelit Evenings

Candlelit Evenings at Shugborough's historic estate could be straight from an outdoor Christmas-card scene. The Victorian hustle and bustle of the working servants' quarters combines with the grand festive atmosphere of the mansion house, decorated with more than 1000 candles.

Street performers, fire jugglers and live music keep everyone entertained and the kitchen maids help prepare a Victorian Christmas feast. In the fine food marquee, artisans and exhibitors demonstrate their crafts and offer a mouth-watering selection of food.
