Glasgow Americana

First held in 2007, the Glasgow Americana festival is the city's biggest celebration of American folk, welcoming American and local country, folk and roots musicians to the city's Americana festival. Organised by The Fallen Angels Club, gigs take place across town.

In 2011 artists appearing include Eric Taylor, Jake Cogan, Bap Kennedy, Anna Coogan, Israel Nash, the Wynntown Marshals, Lynn Miles, Alejandro Escovedo, Andrea Glass and Sarah MacDougall.
