As traditional as Christmas pudding, British pantomimes get families out and about over the festive season. Popular Scottish actress Elaine C Smith is once again joined by local favourites Alan McHugh and Jordan Young, this year in Jack and the Beanstalk.
Nearly 60,000 audience members can't be wrong, so join them for the David-and-Goliath tale of Jack trading his cow for magic beans and watching a massive beanstalk grow. When he climbs up he finds not only a goose that lays golden eggs and a whole host of riches, but also a giant and his wife.
Like all great pantomimes there's fun and silliness alongside some scary bits. Beware the angry giant's wife!
