Leeds Festival

The younger twin sister of the Reading Festival, the Leeds Festival takes place at Branham Park every August Bank Holiday weekend. Entertaining crowds of thousands since the 1960s, past headliners here have included The Cure, Kasabian and the Foo Fighters.

This music extravaganza features various stages, including the BBC Introducing stage; especially for unsigned artists. While its tone has relatively lightened over the years, it is still mainly a rock-heavy festival with one whole day usually dedicated towards hard rock and metal.
